Darcy Fowler

The Writer

Darcy is a writer residing in Los Angeles. The animated Horror/Comedy Little Demon, with she co-created with Seth Kirschner and Kieran Valla, starring Danny Devito, Lucy Devito and Aubrey Plaza was recently picked up to series by FX. Her semi-autobiographical dramedy Stable is in development with Red Hour and Studio 71. Previously she wrote on the 4th Season of Glow has been in development with AMC, Comedy Central, and co-created the TBS pilot Nightmare Time which she co-wrote and acted in with Kirschner, Plaza and Valla.

As a playwright, her work has been read and workshopped at Ensemble Studio Theatre, Primary Stages, Ars Nova, The Bushwick Starr, Theatreworks Palo Alto, Harmony Gold Preview House (LA) Noho Playhouse (LA) The Cochrane Theatre (London) and Lockerbie Academy (Scotland). Her play The Bird and the Two-Ton Weight, was selected as one of five American plays to be workshopped at the Old Vic in London, as part of Old Vic/New Voices. She is a proud alumni of Ensemble Studio Theatre’s Youngblood.
